Another gravel road delving into the Maniototo Landscape. Late afternoon light once again attracted me, looking almost directly into the setting sun from the eastern side near Patearoa.. As a teenager I rode my horse along here, although the farming scenes have changed dramatically as dairy farming seems to be a large part of the Maniototo basin.
